How To Eat Ramen

This is a scene from a Japanese movie, "Tampopo." A young guy is being taught "how to eat ramen" by a ramen master. Obviously, it's a joke, but it's really fascinating.

Tampopo - Wikipedia
Tampopo (タンポポ Tanpopo, literally "dandelion") is a 1985 Japanese comedy film by director Juzo Itami, starring Tsutomu Yamazaki, Nobuko Miyamoto and Ken Watanabe. The publicity for the film calls it the first ramen western, a play on the term Spaghetti Western (films about the American Old West made by Italian production studios).

Japanese Most Popular Dish, Shabu-shabu

Shabu-shabu - Wikipedia
Shabu-shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ , also spelled syabu-syabu) is a Japanese variant of hot pot. The name Shabu Shabu is derived from the "swish swish" sound of cooking the meat in the pot. The dish is related to sukiyaki in style, in that both use thinly sliced meat and vegetables and are usually served with dipping sauces, but it is considered to be more savory and less sweet than sukiyaki. It is considered a winter dish but is eaten year-round.
