Japanese Players Won The Magic The Gathering 2011 World Championship
The world championship of the Magic The Gathering was hold at San Francisco from the 17th to the 20th of Nobember 2011. Japanese players won the team competition and the individual match.

Dragon Quest "Slime" Shaped Steamed Bun
Family Mart, one of post popular convenience store is selling "Slime" shaped steamed bun since November 29th. "Slime" is an enemy and a mascot in Dragon Quest series, and it was designed by Akira Toriyama, the author of Dragon Ball. Family Mart announced that they will sell these "Slime" steam bun by one million pieces. The price is 170yen.

Shogi Champions against Chess Champion
At Villandry castle in Tours, France on October 29th, Yoshiharu Habu and Toshiyuki Moriuchi, the Shogi champions in Japan, and challenged Maxime Vachier Lagrave, who is known globally as the chess champion of France, in a game of chess.
Mr. Habu and Mr. Moriuchi were in Rueil-Malmaison near Paris for the 5th International Shogi Forum.
Mr. Lagrave used two chessboards and played against two at the same time. Although Moriuchi was beaten, Habu was carried into the draw, and surprised the local chess fan who gathered.
